November

It's Taco Tuesday for November at El Portal.  We are keeping close to home for this one to prepare for our "Black Dress Party" for December.  We hope to see you at 6:30 and feel free to bring a friend or two!  Please let me know via email here so I can get a table for all of us.

The Kitchen update

September did not go as planned, and we apologize for anyone who drove to Council Bluffs and missed us.  Two of us had checked the website and they were supposed to be open until 10 PM on Saturdays.  We were all disappointed to see that they had changed their hours, but not their website when we arrived.  We ended up heading to the Old Market since it was a beautiful night and enjoyed dinner at The Twisted Fork, which was new to all of us.  All of us were expecting it to be a pasta place due to the name but found it was an ecclectic cowboy grill.  The decor, drinks, and food were all wonderful!  The only thing we didn't care for was the drunk guy that kept coming up to our table trying to talk to us. 

We then headed to Upstream for some dessert!  As always, we had such a good time and some pretty good conversation!  It is always fun to sit around with the girls and get to learn more about each other along with some laughs!
